We are very excited that Gartner has recognized Skeleton Technologies as a Cool Vendor in its Cool Vendors in Technology Innovation Through Power and Energy Electronics report published May 19, 2020. According to the report, "emerging energy technologies enable new data center economics and new opportunities for businesses with field operations. We profile four vendors that enterprise architecture and technology innovation leaders should consider when planning to leverage drones, robots, edge data centers and e-mobility."
Skeleton already works with large companies to decrease emissions and fuel consumption, to improve power quality and protect equipment and infrastructure from power peaks, and to power electrification to fight climate change. The awareness regarding the benefits of ultracapacitors is growing worldwide, with environment-friendliness and energy efficiency being now a priority for many industries, including transportation and robotics, but it is only the beginning. In terms of price and performance, the ultracapacitor sector is at a stage where the lithium-ion battery industry was in 1999. Being named a Gartner Cool Vendor is definitely exciting for Skeleton Technologies and we are honored by this recognition.
