We have tested all the leading suppliers on the market and are convinced that Skeleton Technologies has by far the best offer. The lowest internal resistance (ESR) and highest efficiency levels of Skeleton’s ultracapacitors lets us explore new solutions that were not thinkable with other products."
SkelCap Series - large supercapacitor cells
Superior power & energy density at a competitive cost in the most popular large form factor in the industry
The SkelCap supercapacitor series brings the benefits of our patented production technologies to the D60 form factor, the most popular cell size in the supercapacitor industry. Class-leading performance and a large variety of options offer you the upper hand over the competition.
SkelCap cells are available at 2.85 V with a very low ESR, or internal resistance, long lifetime, and very high power.
D60 supercapacitor cells
- Voltage: 2.85 V
- Capacitance: 3000-5000 F
- ESR (DC): 0.18-0.29 mOhm
- Specific power: 34.6-73.0 kW/kg
- Specific energy: 5.4-6.8 Wh/kg
SkelCap PCB-mountable supercapacitors
The SkelCap SCA0300 are Skeleton's answer for the D33 L61 form factor - small supercapacitor cells with excellent power density, low ESR, and long lifetime.
At 2.85V, the SCA0300 have one of the highest operating voltages on the market. Moreover, the low internal resistance of the cells leads to the lower heat generation and a longer application lifetime compared to other supercapacitors in the same size and form factor. The durable design and small size make the cells ideal for a variety of applications, for example energy regeneration systems and power quality applications.
- Voltage: 2.85 V
- Capacitance: 300 F
- ESR (DC): 1.6 mOhm
- Specific power: 20.0 kW/kg
- Specific energy: 5.3 Wh/kg
