Skeleton Technologies Appoints Industry Veteran as VP of U.S. Operations to Accelerate Growth in North America

Skeleton Technologies is pleased to welcome Andrew Worley as our new Vice President of U.S. Operations, strengthening our leadership team at a critical moment for AI infrastructure development in North America.

Andrew Worley Enhanced-1

The primary bottleneck for AI adoption in the United States is no longer the availability of GPUs, but the demand for power and the reliability of the electric grid. The rapid, dramatic swings in power demand for AI workloads account for nearly 50 percent of total energy consumption of data centers, unnecessarily inflating the need for new power generation nationwide. The addition of large industrial loads such as AI data centers onto the electric grid is contributing to diminished power quality in the U.S., along with explosive electricity demand, aging grid infrastructure, and increasingly frequent extreme weather events. Skeleton's mission-critical solutions for AI data centers, GrapheneGPU for power smoothing and GrapheneBBU for backup power, are designed to solve these issues.

Over the next 18 months, Skeleton aims to deploy more than 1 GW of power capacity across the U.S. to support AI infrastructure growth. The market demand is expected to grow tenfold beyond that horizon. Delivering at this scale requires a proven leader with extensive energy, manufacturing, and operational experience at the helm, such as Andrew.

Andrew is a leading industrial executive with an entrepreneurial mindset, bringing over 25 years of experience operating at the highest levels of technology and manufacturing, with a strong track record in power systems, energy infrastructure, and large-scale deployment. Prior to joining Skeleton, Andrew served as Senior Director of R&D and Program Management at Danfoss. He brings deep expertise in supercapacitor technology and has worked closely for years with Skeleton’s Chief Product Officer, Tero Järveläinen, ensuring immediate alignment across engineering, product, and execution teams.

Andrew’s appointment marks an important step in Skeleton’s U.S. expansion as we scale our solutions to help unlock the power infrastructure required for the next era of artificial intelligence.
