Skeleton meets with MEP Anna Cavazzini to discuss innovation and energy storage
On August 25th, Skeleton Technologies had the pleasure of welcoming several visitors in Großröhrsdorf, among which MEP Anna Cavazzini and Green Party representative Merle Spellerberg. As part of a circular economy tour across Saxony, the Member of the European Parliament was meeting innovative companies to engage in a professional exchange on the topic of energy storage and battery technology innovation.
Currently, the EU Commission has presented a legislative proposal for a new EU Battery Regulation. It is another concrete legislative proposal of the EU Commission within the framework of the European Green Deal and it aims to support the development of a resource and environmentally-friendly battery industry. MEP Anna Cavazzini is involved in the process as Chair of the European Parliament's Internal Market Committee.
Mrs. Cavazzini took the opportunity to engage in a professional exchange with Skeleton representatives, getting to know our unique product and company plans for growth in Saxony.
Following the company’s presentation, there was a Q & A session related to specifics of our products, the future of the company in Saxony, and ways of support the growth of our business locally thus contributing to the further innovation, eco-conscientious strategy, and prosperity and further development of Saxony. Overall, a very open, positive, and beneficial discussion to continue in the future!
