Skeleton Technologies has once again been named in the Global Cleantech 100 list, which features companies best positioned to solve tomorrow's cleantech challenges.
The Global Cleantech 100 list is produced by the Cleantech Group, and highlights the work of companies with the highest potential to make significant market impact within 5 to 10 years. Past nominees include giants such as Airbnb, Uber, and SolarCity, recently acquired by Tesla.
Skeleton Technologies' CEO Taavi Madiberk sees inclusion on the list as further proof of hard work paying off:

2016 was a year of exciting growth for the company. The opening of our production facility in Estonia helped to transform Skeleton Technologies from an ultracapacitor manufacturer to an energy savings company with our own ultracapacitor cells, modules, and full energy storage systems."
The Cleantech Group received nominations from 9,900 companies from 77 countries for this year's list - the highest numbers ever. The expert panel, which is partly responsible for choosing the top 100 companies for the list, includes some of the biggest names in the cleantech and energy industries: Laura Nereng, the Sustainability Leader at 3M; Ulrich Quay, the Managing Director at BMWi; Konrad Augustin, Head of E.ON SCI US; and Daniel Hullah, the Managing Director at GE Ventures.
